Thanks for sharing Jason. I’m really enjoying the journey. I’m looking at leaving my job of almost 30 years soon and thinking of how to spend my time in the next phase has been fun at times but also a bit daunting. (Soon to be 54) Your experience is adding value to my personal future time and experience planning. Thank you. I used your math and re-worked it to actual waking hours of my day and the amount of time “lost” is even more concerning. Looking forward to the next post.

As a big fan of 2 sides of Fi, I know you researched this before started your adventure. Can you post a list of everything one would need to do this epic walk. What kind of shoes are you wearing and what back pack etc. Also, what would you consider mandatory for this. You would really be helping me out because I really want to copy your exact journey and I know you have it all dialed in. Honestly, I love the time of year you selected, even if it is off season. I literally am considering going in one month and this will only be possible if you help educate me. I am full of enthusiasm and empty on knowledge.

THANK YOU JASON!!!!!

Being agreeable feels good in the moment, but speaking with (kind) candour feels so much better in the long term and serves a greater purpose. I view it as a kind of wise selfishness, a Buddhist concept the Dalai Lama describes well.

That leg pain doesn’t sound fun, take care of yourself.
