Jason I've followed along on your journey via your updates. I'm glad you had a successful Camino, and obviously despite challenges you've come out better for it. Cheers, and I wish you the best!
Many congratulations 🎉. It's been fantastic to follow your journey, both physical and spiritual. Thank you for sharing it.
I found myself thinking of you on the last leg during the day today and wondering how you would feel at completion. The pilgrim service in the cathedral feels like a perfect finale.
Enjoy not having to hike tomorrow and safe travels home.
I'll look forward to hearing you back on Two Sides of FI 👋🏻
Jason, Thank you so much for letting us be part of your journey. It was very cool to hear about the paths crossed, the challenges faced, and personal insights. I would love to take one of these pilgrimages. I happened to be in Dublin just as you were finishing your walk and toasted you from the Guinness Zero Gravity bar overlooking the start of the Dublin Camino pilgrimage, St James Church!
Jason, I'm so grateful for your generous documentation of this journey; from your running inner dialogue to the friends made along the way to the very real discomforts - physical and emotional - that accompany such an undertaking. I dipped in before my parenting duties began in the mornings, between (and who am I kidding, DURING) meetings throughout my busy workday, and after the kitchen was cleaned up from dinner. My FI date is 10/31/32 and I have now confidently added a pilgrimage like this to my ever-expanding "retire-to" list. Thank you for your openness in sharing this experience with this stranger on the path to FIRE.
Jason - congrats! I’ve followed Two Sides of FI for a while, and was thrilled to see your writings on the Camino - largely because my Uncle and I will be walking the Camino Portuguese next month.
Thanks so much for the informative updates. I’m really looking forward to this walk!
Congratulations, well done! Your journey was a joy to read and your daily notes are much appreciated. It is interesting what such an undertaking does with a person. Good opportunity to contemplate physical and mental wellbeing. Interesting what your take always are of this trip ones you get home and had time to process the journey from a more remote point.
Jason, what a huge accomplishment. Good call to sign off for now and spend some time in quiet contemplation. I'm sure the readjustment back to "reality" will be an interesting journey. Savor it. I've enjoyed reading your daily posts, great job capturing the adventure. Safe travels home!
Much thanks for sharing your journey, Jason! So fun to receive your daily updates. Your memories of it will compound over time, I’m sure. Bravo for tackling it on your own, truly inspirational! :-)

Me too! I can’t wait to get back and talk with Eric
